The artists that have influenced the group include: Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley, The Beach Boys, Chuck Berry, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis and Bill Haley and the Comets. Featured at Valleyfair Amusement Park in 1987 and 1995, Bob & the Beachcombers have also performed at the Minnesota, Wisconsin, and North Dakota State Fairs. They also won an award from the Minnesota Ballroom Operators Association for “Best 50’s & 60’s Rock ‘n Roll Band”. |
